Sleep Inn & Suites

Overall a good stay for my trip to panama so I'll separate my pros and cons. Pros: The staff was super friendly! Had no issues checking in since I booked through a 3rd party. The lobby was clean, they gave us extra towels and trash can liners, and check out was also a breeze. The beds were also SUPER comfortable and the inn is conveniently located to quite a bit of restaurants and places to go do activities. Cons: The smell of the hotel room was unpleasant. Very musty smelling and smelled like there was a permanent cigarette smell stained into the carpet. Which by the signs, the rooms on that floor were supposed to be non smoking but we constantly smelled cigarette smoke and weed. The other issue was the driveway, we had difficulties getting in and out because its super small and there's a block right in the middle. Its also the only place to get in and out of the lot.

Everything was great except they have an ant issue. Came down on vacation and my car had just been detailed before I left and I came out the next day and there were easily a thousand or more ants crawling all on the outside and the inside I’ve been to Florida lived there for 13 years and stayed in hotels a million times and have never seen anything like it and breakfast is not the best. And no one came to change sheets or bring towels the whole time we stayed.

This hotel is odd. I travel a bit for work and spend a good amount of time in hotels in Florida. This hotel is not expensive so it is not fair to compare it to a beachfront, five star. However, I can’t get past some of the weird decisions that the hotel management has made here. * There are zero drawers in the room * There are 6 hangers in this room. That means 3 for my wife and 3 for me. It might seem petty, but where am I supposed to put my clothes if I want to unpack my suitcase, which I do at every other hotel? * There is nowhere to hang my wet towel in the bathroom * There is a rack over the toilet loaded with towels, which I appreciate, but it does not allow for actually hanging a full size towel. It would be draping the toilet. Likewise, I could hang my towel over the glass shower wall, but what happens if my wife wants to take a shower? She would have to do something with my wet towel. Also, the hotel doesn’t service the rooms daily, unless you ask, so using a new towel each time isn’t realistic. * The TV is small and in the living room area instead of in the bedroom area * A 36 inch tv is not big enough in general for a hotel. Having it far from the bed and hang over the desk is strange. I get that there is a couch and a bed, but seriously, I would not have put the TV 20 ft from the bed. Unfortunately, this hotel also suffers from the mildew smell in the room that plagues most hotels in Florida that have mini-split AC units.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Sleep Inn in Panama City Beach, Florida, and I can confidently say that it was a fantastic experience from beginning to end. It was a delightful way to start each day, and I appreciated the effort that went into providing a satisfying breakfast experience. The location of Sleep Inn is also worth mentioning. Situated in the heart of PCB, it offers easy access to the beach, local attractions, and dining options, making it an ideal choice for travelers looking to make the most of their visit.

My son, my grandson, and I had the wonderful opportunity to stay in the Sleep Inn & Suites in Panama City Beach, Florida. The rooms were awesome, like brand new, and the staff at the desk and the room keepers were all first class. The breakfast was always hot with plenty to eat. This is the best place to stay in Panama City Beach and has the best prices. Everything is first class and relaxing for your family, as you visit the beach, the many stores, and excellent restaurants.
